By wpu_xrn5p5h6 昨今、ビジネスの世界ではクラウドサービスの存在が必要不可欠となっています。 様々なメリットが存在し、データの管理などに役立つクラウドサービスですが、基本を知らずに何気なく利用するだけとなると、思わぬトラブルに巻き込まれてしまう可能性もあります。 クラウドサービスの意味と仕組みをしっかりと理解して、できることとできないことを把握し、効率的に利用することが推奨されます。 まずクラウドサービスという言葉ですが、クラウドというのは英語の「雲」という意味になります。 この語源には諸説あり、他にも「群衆」といった意味合いからつけられたという話も存在します。 一般的には雲のイメージで使われるのですが、その理由はとてもユニークなものです。 クラウドサービスが普及する前、それぞれのコンピューターに入っているデータなどは、ハードディスクか自分のメモリに保管するのが一般的でした。 しかし、クラウドサービスはそのような外部のメモリを一切使わず、インターネット上に保存します。 設定で許可をすれば、そのデータを複数の人がアクセスして閲覧、編集することが可能になります。 これが基本的なシステムになるのですが、この状況がまるで多くの人が雲を見上げているようだという感覚に近いことから、クラウドという言葉が浸透したといわれています。 データをわざわざ特定の人に送信する必要もなく、インターネット上のバーチャルな空間に雲のように浮かべるだけで、多くの人がその情報にアクセスすることができます。 情報の共有が簡単にできることから、複数人で管理が可能であり、作業効率があがるというメリットがあります。 また、データをメモリに保存して持ち歩いていた場合、何らかの理由でそのメモリを紛失したり、どこかに置き忘れたりしてしまうと作業が滞ってしまうリスクがあります。 クラウドの空間にアップしておけば、その際でも安心です。 外出先からでも簡単にアクセスが可能で、好きな時に作業ができるので生産性もあがります。 ただし、クラウドサービスにもデメリットが存在します。 データを保管しているサービスそのものにユーザーが関わることができないので、万が一セキュリティ面に問題が発生した場合は、復旧をただ待つしかありません。 また、保管のためのパスワードの情報などが盗まれた場合、ハッカーに簡単にアクセスされてしまうというリスクもあります。 このようなデメリットも踏まえて、貴重な情報はバックアップを取るなどの対策が必要です。 万が一に備えて、保管するデータの種類もきちんと選んでおいた方が良いでしょう。 クラウドサービスは基本中の基本?はITに疎い会社が知りたい、現代の流行技術!で公開された投稿です。 …read more Source: The Local...
